Hi my name is Anna, born and bred in New Zealand, I followed my family over to Australia in 1990 at the age of 21, to commence my nursing training. I travelled to Saudi Arabia in 1997 where I worked as a Registered Nurse for 2 years and then to the United Kingdom in 1999, where I worked another 2 years. I travelled throughout that time returning to Australia in 2001.
I got to the 'ripe old age' of 41 and panicked. I hadn't met a life partner and what's more, someone to father my children. Had I missed the boat? I couldn't imagine life without kids and I'm not sure why I had not thought seriously about it earlier, but now it all seemed impossible. One day I had a notion, with a little vote of confidence from a friend, that I could have children on my own...this was a pretty random notion as it went against everything I believed in, but the importance of children in my life was so great that I had to try it. If one thing was certain, I could be tenacious although somewhat a procrastinator at times, but at the end of the day, I knew I had the strength to raise a child on my own and was realistic that it would be a bumpy & sometimes lonely road, but was all worth it. I went down the fertility treatment path for the next 2 years with all its ups and downs, using an anonymous donor and attempting both artificial insemination and IVF and was blessed with not only 1 baby but 2... beautiful twin boy and girl. I was the luckiest girl in the world. I had always dreamed of having twins.
As a Registered Nurse since 1994 and a qualified Advanced Care Paramedic since 2008, dealing with health and wellbeing, I am a firm believer in an holistic approach. This means that I am open to a combination of both conventional medicine and alternative treatments in assisting one on the path to good health & happiness. Whilst I continue to work in both roles ie Paramedic and RN, I am always interested in other treatments and supplements and in helping others to find methods that might work for them.
I became involved with Max International as a result of an encounter with a friend of a friend with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), whose health had dramatically improved with the use of Max products. As a 38 y/o with CF, she was committed to these products and spoke with such conviction about them affirming that she had just had the best lung function test of her life, and so I was compelled to look into it further myself. Fertility is just one area of many, where Max products may be of benefit.
Whilst the causes of infertility are varied, there are several specialist treatment options available at a range of prices. However, there are alternative options which may optimise chances of conceiving, including therapies such as acupuncture, supplements ie Cellgevity or natural remedies such as ; diet, relaxation techniques, cognitive therapy and more.
